About Me

I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. I also have my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Rutgers University as well as my Associate Degree in Applied Science in Animal Science Technology from Camden County College. I currently see adults 18 years and older with issues that include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, trauma, chronic illness, and pet loss. My therapeutic approaches are mainly Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy.

My Approach

Compassion

I will examine a client's most central ideas about themselves, recognizing that individuals with varying core beliefs may be presented with the same situation but will think, feel, and behave differently. I am passionate about pet bereavement therapy in that I recognize the sacred bond that we share with our pets, and their loss is often devastating.

Holistic

With the understanding that a positive therapeutic alliance is one of the most important aspects of treatment, I emphasize the need for empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness as a major part of my approach. I also recognize the significance of the mind-body connection, and I view the client through the holistic lens.
